We maintain a public company page (fan page: https://www.facebook.com/bueter.hebetechnik/) on the Facebook platform, a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (“Meta”). With this information, we inform you about the processing of personal data that takes place in connection with visiting and interacting with our Facebook page.

1. Joint Controllership According to Art. 26 GDPR

This data is provided by Meta in aggregated form and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about individuals. Meta is particularly responsible for:

  • the primary duty to inform data subjects,
  • the exercise of data subject rights according to Art. 12–22 GDPR,
  • the security of processing.

We are responsible for:

  • the legally compliant operation of our Fanpage,
  • interaction with users (e.g., comments, messages).

2. Purposes and Legal Bases of Data Processing

  1. a) Data Processing by Meta

Each time you visit the Facebook page, Meta processes data such as:

  • IP address, browser information, location data, device characteristics
  • Interaction data (e.g., likes, comments, sharing content)

  1. b) Data Processing by us (Büter Hebetechnik GmbH)

We process personal data if you:

  • contact us via Facebook Messenger,
  • leave public posts on our page (e.g., comments, ratings),
  • react to our posts (e.g., likes, shares).

The legal basis is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in public relations, customer communication, and interaction with users. In the case of an existing business relationship or inquiry, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR may also be applicable.

3. Data Transfer to Third Countries

Meta may transfer personal data to the USA or other third countries. The data transfer takes place in accordance with the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR, available at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum

4. Storage Period

We do not store any personal data outside of Facebook. Data published on Facebook or transmitted via Messenger is subject to Meta’s storage periods. You can delete your own posts at any time.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have the following rights vis-à-vis Meta and us:

  • Information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • Complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

6. Provision of Data

The use of our Facebook page is voluntary. You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide personal data.

1. Data Controller

2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing

  1. a) Processing by Meta

When using our Instagram profile, Meta processes personal data on its own responsibility, e.g.:

  • IP address, device information, location data
  • Usage, interaction, and profile information
  • Cookies and similar technologies

If you contact us via Instagram (e.g., through comments, likes, or direct messages), we process the data collected for:

  • Communication
  • Public relations and customer care

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest); for specific inquiries: additionally Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR

3. Joint Controllership (Art. 26 GDPR)

Meta and we are jointly responsible for the processing of Page Insights data. The relevant agreement (“Page Insights Controller Addendum”) can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum

Meta assumes primary responsibility and undertakes to uphold data subject rights. You can also address inquiries regarding Insights to us – we will forward them to Meta.

4. Data Transfer to Third Countries

Meta transfers personal data to the USA and possibly to other third countries. 5. Storage Period

We do not store any data outside of Instagram. You can delete data that you publish via Instagram (e.g., comments, messages) yourself at any time. The storage period of data at Meta is governed by their privacy policy.

You have the right at any time to:
