Special Lift for Scenery Logistics at the Bavarian State Opera

As part of a new storage center for the Bavarian State Opera, a lifting system was to be developed that would allow direct access to the basement for transporting stage sets. The focus was on efficiency, load-bearing capacity and integration into the theater logistics.

BÜTER Hebetechnik GmbH designed a hydraulic truck elevator with a platform size of 17 m x 4 m, onto which transport vehicles can drive completely. Stage sets and props are lowered directly into the underground racking system in a single lift – without reloading or loss of time.
