Your Custom Side Access Platform

Our side access platforms provide comfortable and safe access to the side and roof areas of vehicles. They are available as freely movable or rail-guided lift work platforms.

The freely movable side access platforms can be equipped with a contactless side guidance system, for example, with induction loops, color strips, or coding strips along the track system.

The gap between the lift work platform and the vehicle contour is closed with an extendable telescopic platform.

The side access platforms are used for the maintenance and servicing of rail vehicles: for the maintenance and replacement of pantographs, air conditioning units, and similar components on the vehicle roof, for work on the vehicle sides, etc.

For work in the roof area, if possible, two parallel-moving side access platforms should be used, which create a closed, safe working area by means of swiveling safety railings.
If only a single side access platform is used, the work area on the roof can be secured by an extendable front railing; however, in this case, additional personal protective equipment (PPE) must be used.
To ensure the platform can only be raised when the overhead line is switched off, our side access platforms are equipped with a safety key concept, which is connected to your overhead line control system.

Our side access platforms feature an electrically operated drive and lifting mechanism with battery. They are equipped with various contactless guidance systems and can be moved quickly and safely. Their simple handling ensures high user-friendliness.

The lifting platform can be equipped with a slewing crane, and the telescopic platform is fitted with a front-end shut-off bar. They are suitable for use with various vehicle types and are characterized by an extremely robust and durable construction.
