Wheelset changing systems

The wheelset changing systems are used for the expansion of wheelsets in workshops with ground-level or raised track systems.
In the case of ground-level tracks – pit tracks – rail-moving interchangeable vehicles are usually used in the track pit, which transport the wheel set below the vehicles to the collection station.
Both stationary and mobile wheelset changing systems can be used on raised track systems. In the case of stationary and mobile systems, the wheel set is taken over on the side of the track.

Product

Our mobile system for raised track systems with track bridges is the most flexible wheel set change system and can also be retrofitted afterwards. This is simply inserted into the track with a forklift truck or a BÜTER forklift truck (this requires track bridges). The mobile system for upgraded track systems consists of the following components:

• Mobile wheelset changing system
• Freely movable walk-lift forklifts for moving the interchangeable system
• Swivel track bridges or removable track bridges
• Mobile support jacks

With this mobile system, wheel set changes can be carried out simultaneously or sequentially on a raised track system at several positions without hindering other work on the vehicle.

With the help of other BÜTER components such as ball roll pallets, other underfloor components such as traction motors, etc. can also be changed.
