Our support stands are safe and proven devices for supporting the vehicle body or bogie when changing components. They are perfectly matched to our vehicle lifting systems, bogie changing systems and wheelset changing systems and can be combined in a variety of ways.
Support stands individually manufactured for every area of application
The carriage body or bogie is usually supported by a trapezoidal spindle that can be manually adjusted in height. Alternatively, we also offer hydraulic supports.
We supply both stationary and mobile support portals, individually designed according to your requirements and perfectly adapted to your systems.
Our support gantries and support stands are primarily used for the maintenance and repair of rail vehicles, but are also used in other industries, for example to support trucks, buses, construction machinery or tanks.
The mobile support stands are available with sprung or manually lowerable chassis. The load is introduced into the hall floor, which must have sufficient load-bearing capacity and a defined flatness. The chassis are, of course, deactivated under load.
For mobile support portals, the load introduction occurs into the hall floor. This must have a defined floor flatness. The stationary support portals direct the load into defined foundation areas.
In addition to support stands and support portals, we offer a range of other support devices, which can be assembled as individual systems – for example, as a modular system for a specific vehicle type.
